Covers/Caps – Clean and worn squarely on the head with the bottom edge horizontal to the deck. Per First Coast High School policy covers will only be worn during uniform inspections. When not being inspected the cover (Garrison Cap) will be placed under the cadet’s uniform belt on the right side. This is how it should be worn throughout the school day.

T-Shirts – All cadets must wear a crew neck clean white T-shirt under their uniform shirt at all times.

Shirts and Trousers – Shall be pressed, wrinkle free, no Irish Pennants, no lint, no stains, proper fit.

Belt buckles/Belt Tips – Shall be shined and free from scratches. Polish residue shall be removed.

Socks – Uniform socks shall be black plain knit or rib knit socks.

Shoes – Kept well shined and in good repair. Laced inside out through all eyelets. Use leather Dye on the soles of shoes.

Garrison Cap Anchor – Worn on the left side of the cap. The anchor is center 2 inches from the front of the cap and 1 ½ inches from the bottom of the cap.

Rank Insignia – Worn on the right collar. The insignia is centered 1 7/8 inches from the tip of the collar.

JROTC Bar - Worn on the Left collar. The insignia is centered 1 7/8 inches from the tip of the collar.

Name Tags – Worn ¼ inch above and centered on the right pocket buttonhole.

Ribbons - Worn ¼ inch above and centered on the right pocket buttonhole.

Service Stars – Worn ¼ inch above the top row of ribbons. One star centered. Multiple Stars ¼ inches apart.
